House of Tyrus

Pastor John Whitmore has been in a state of depression ever since the mysterious death of his beloved daughter, Melissa. Struck with grief, Pastor John was unable to cope, eventually losing his congregation and the support his wife, Nancy. With his pastorship on the line and little else to lose, John must face his superiors and explain the controversy and confusion surrounding his church. On his way to the airport with six other passengers, a raging storm suddenly forces them off course, redirecting them to a remote mansion where the owner is more than eager to take the strangers in. What begins as a brief respite from the violence of the storm turns into a supernatural encounter for the seven stranded travelers. With his faith being challenged and his sanity torn to shreds, Pastor John is cast into the spirit world where his own demons await his arrival within the House of Tyrus. Author Bio: Ted Murphy spent his early years growing up in Liverpool, England. House of Tyrus was inspired by his experiences with the ministry and missionary trips as well as time served in the Navy. He is a professional electrical engineer and currently resides with his wife and two children in Woodstock, Maryland.
