Green forages seasonality and animal feed shortage during drought periods and dry summer season in Sudan ,necessitate searching for non-conventional animal feed resources . agricultural and agro-industrial by-products is one of these alternatives to be used in animal diets to bridge green forage gap. five sugar factories are found in Sudan, produce huge amounts of sugar cane bagasse (SCB) and sugar cane molasses (SCM),both could be incorporated in animal feed formulation as cheap and available feed resources, many improvement methods could be done to increase the nutritive value of sugar cane bagasse (SCB)the objective of this book is to make maximum benefit of bagasse instead of being burned by the sugar factories as a waste ,in addition to fulfill the animal feed gap to avoid health and production problems .
