In the spring of 1986, Britaini Hughes receives her big break in the music business - singing backing vocals for the world-renown, British band, Double Talk on their next album. The petite, attractive, African-American, 19-year old leaves behind her pompons and UCLA for New York, to begin a roller coater ride into the unknown and to catch a ride on a shooting star!
