The Chicano Treatise is an initialization at reclaiming a lost spirit that has lingered for almost five centuries since Spain's conquest of Mexico. This work, more than just history, is a treatise on gender relationships, families, and failures of the Chicano liberation movement. Chicanos are implicitly tied to their ancestral homeland geographically, demographically, culturally, and historically.
